OK, I admit that comedy movies are not always my first choice, when I go looking for movies to watch. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I’m a humorless cad or anything, it’s just that it seems harder and harder to find good movies to watch. Or perhaps it could be that my sense of humor is getting a little stranger and harder to please as I gradually grow older. I do love a good laugh in movies, but I have certain criteria I expect from the humor.
I like to watch movies online, and here’s a few things I do find particularly funny in the movies I’ve seen of late. Quite often, I find humor in the most unexpected places. Take for example the movie Julie & Julia staring Meryl Streep. A somewhat funny movie, that was meant more as a autobiography of the lady Julie that wrote a blog about working through Julia Childs famous cookbook. There was one scene in here that I found incredibly funny. The one that culminates with Julia Child (Meryl Streep) chopping a mountain full of onions in her kitchen as her husband returns home from work.
What makes it funny though, is not that final scene, but the scenes leading up to it. Julia has enrolled herself at a very prestigious cooking school, and found herself with the daunting taking of keeping up with an all male student body of some obviously very experienced chefs. Even learning the simple task of rapidly chopping onions at school, is one that she barely manages to perform well in comparison to the other cooks. But, here determination is apparent. So, she decides to practice at home, and must have chopped bushels of onions when we see her in the kitchen. One can only imagine how impregnated the air must be with the stinging bite of onions. But not to be deterred, she carries on.
What makes the scene even funnier, is when her husband comes home, and is completely bowled over as he approaches the door to the kitchen. While I found the scene hilariously funny, I must admit to being the only person in the room who did. So, maybe it is me after all. So, if your looking to test out your funny bone, then maybe The Spy Next Door would be a good choice. Jackie Chan always seems to get a chuckle or two out of me.

Replica watches—what exactly are they? And are they worth buying?
“Replica watches” is just another term for copies or duplicates of famous originals. These watches are actually fully working models and can be of high quality.

However good they are replicas still need to be purchased with guidelines in mind. A good quality replica has to be worth the hundreds of dollars being asked for it, so it must be correctly marked every where, have a quality solid stainless steel case, and the dial and sub-dials must be functioning and accurate. The hour and second hands must be properly formed, and the numbers/numerals clear and authentic in design. The face should be covered by a real sapphire crystal, the bezel fitted tightly. Threaded screws should be used in the band links. Replica watches will NOT be more than water resistant; they run on quartz or automatic movements.
